The anti-Illegal Recruitment branch of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration exposed multiple Facebook accounts that allegedly offer fake job offers overseas. There are many victims of those agents, who ran or ransomed the applicant's passports, transferred them to another agency, falsified the papers, medicalized them even though there was no employer, contract, or job offer. Some have been mistreated, and there are cases of human trafficking and prostitution".
